The statement “we want to be carbon-free by year x,” is so simple in the saying, and so utterly complex in the doing, as we push carbon-intensive generation resources to the side and replace them with an entirely new ecosystem of resources that sit on both sides of the meter.  This course will dig into the fundamentals behind the challenges and opportunities of integrating significant levels of variable renewable generating resources, such as wind and solar, as well as energy storage into our grid.
